Celebrating 50 Years
From May 2011 through September 2013, we are celebrating 50 years of WLD Ranch's ministry. Why such a long celebration? May 29, 2011 is the 50 year anniversary of Wayne Leonard Davis's death, which transfered his dream of reaching the kids in his neighborhood for Christ to his parents' vision for WLD Ranch. The first event at WLD Ranch was a picnic on Labor Day weekend in 1963, followed by the first Winter Wonderland and summer camp the following summer. So, May 2011 - September 2013 is 2 full years of remembering our past, enjoying the present, and anticipating the next 50 years of WLD Ranch's ministry. While we hope to celebrate in many ways, we have 50 ways that we would like to celebrate with you over the next 2 years. The list begins below. It will include events (such as Open Houses, Rodeos, and Celebrations), commemorative items for purchase (such as magnets, family photo shoot, and posters), and ways of donating to the ministry (such as the Next 50 Posse and Sponsoring a Child for Summer Camp). At first, the list is small, but we'll be sure to announce the events in advance so you can plan to participate. We'll post info on the facebook page as events get closer. 50 Ways to Celebrate 50 Years
- Attend Open House 2011 (May 1)
- Purchase a commemorative 50 Year Celebration magnet (available at events)
- Purchase a commemorative Family Photo package (at the Open House or at Family Camp 2012)
- Join the Next 50 Posse (see explanation below)
- Sponsor a child for Summer Camp
- Attend a rodeo this summer
- Come to the Kids' Christmas Shop on December 2, 2011 or December 3, 2011

The Next 50 Posse
God has blessed the ministry of WLD Ranch since 1963. As we approach the 50 year anniversary in 2013, what do the next 50 years hold? Your partnership through the Next 50 Posse can help us to carry the vision of WLD Ranch forward for the next 50 years.
Partner with us by donating on a monthly or quarterly basis from now until September 2013. Donate in any of the following commemorative amounts: $19.63, $20.13, or $50. Designate "The Next 50 Posse" in the memo line of your check made payable to WLD Ranch. We'll send you a receipt with information on continuing to participate.
