Jesus Come to Us
Thursday Dec 23rd, 2021
Jesus has come to us. God’s Son came here to earth.
He took our humble form and showed us in His birth
That grace was greater still than all we could achieve.
Eternal became frail so life we could receive.
Jesus has come for us. He came to pay for sin.
He died and rose again, so it’s through faith in Him
That grace is greater still than all we have within.
For He has conquered death, redeeming us from sin.
Jesus has come in us, God with us, here to dwell.
He gives us joy and peace and tells us it is well.
That grace is greater still than all our strength can do.
In weakness, He is strong, the hope of Christ in you.
Jesus, O come to us. Come break sin’s final chain.
Return in all your pow’r. Renew, restore, and reign.
Your grace is greater still than all we ever dreamed.
Lord Jesus, come and be the joy of your redeemed.
Your grace is greater still than all our strength can do.
And so, Lord Jesus, come. We put our hope in you.
